Snabb is a tech-enabled platform that addresses the ease of parking, washing or charging your vehicle but ultimately our core business is in reinventing the way we approach parking.
Tell us about yourself?
I’ve always dreamed of founding and building a technology company and when one of my friends shared his new business idea during our final year of college, we jumped to work without much thought.
This was in 2012. It was only later when we learned that if you’re building technology and need to grow fast, your might call your venture a “startup”. So we did.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
I would stress the importance of branding and communication. A few years ago, it was not clear to me how important this is in Snabb’s industry. Intuitively data and performance marketing seemed more important back then.
What problem does your business solve?
Snabb makes it easy to manage your vehicles needs, by bringing all car-related services such as parking, washing, charging, insuring and more to the fingertips of the vehicle owner via one easy to use app. One account, one email, one credit-card and one yellow button to confirm.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
Honestly, I get most of my inspiration from just how much better parking experiences we are able to create. I get motivated by hearing back from landowners about them making more revenues thanks to Snabb while improving users’ life quality.
What is your magic sauce?
We care about our users and we always assume the best of them. Unfortunately, it is not common in the €140B parking industry.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
We will keep growing, keep launching new connected service locations in our target markets and making vehicle ownership suck less.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
It must be the onboarding of the potential user-base. Early adopters were easy to onboard but from then on, changing and introducing new habits to most people is super hard.
How do people get involved/buy into your vision?
If parking, in general, has caused negative emotions to your customers, clients, partners, or visitors, one might find Snabb useful.
